Devin Hester is set to make a huge difference after signing on to playoff squad

Seattle has added a dangerous element to its game.

Two weeks after losing returner Tyler Lockett to a broken leg, the Seattle Seahawks have signed All-Pro returner Devin Hester for the postseason.

The Seahawks haven't confirmed the signing, but Hester took to Instagram to announce it.

Hester, now 34,  played 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens before he was released in December. He is probably the greatest returner in the history of football. He has returned 19 punts and kickoffs for touchdowns throughout his career, which is an NFL record. His last touchdown return was in 2014 with the Atlanta Falcons.

His kick return numbers for Baltimore (24.5 yards per return) weren't that far off his career average of 24.9. But his punt return numbers were way down, and his 7.2 yard per return are well off his 11.7 career average.
