Dez Bryant tells "bandwagon" Cowboys fans to jump off in heated interview

The Dallas Cowboys bounce back Sunday night, but Dez Bryant's still unhappy with some of the fans

The Dallas Cowboys have always had one of the NFL's biggest fan bases. And according to Dez Bryant, their numbers seemed to swell after the team's loss to the New York Giants two Sundays ago, with the ones of the more fairweather variety coming out of the woodwork to blast the team.

After the Cowboys bounced back Sunday night with a 26-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the outspoken wide receiver had a pointed message for those "bandwagons."

"I'm talking to the fake Cowboy fans," Bryant said after the game. "I'm talking to the bandwagons. I'm just talking about everybody. First off, just jump off. Jump off...We lost one game. We were 11-2. ..C'mon, man. This guy put us in this position and you just get to talking crazy. You know, we have one bad game. It's crazy."

The "guy" in Bryant's tirade was obviously rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, who followed up his worst performance of the season against the Giants with one of his best, connecting on 32-of-36 passes for 279 yards and snapping a string of three straight games where he fell short of 200 yards passing.

With that offering, Prescott has officially answered the questions, at least to coaches, about his nerves and whether one poor outing could possibly send him into a slump.

"He's someone who has handled every situation that he's come across really well," said head coach Jason Garrett. "He's handled success well and he's handled adversity well. [That's] adversity in games and adversity from week to week. Whatever it is, he's the same guy."

Now it's up to the fans. Or, as Bryant would say, the real ones.
