Kofi Kingston, one piece of the New Day, may be set for some time off.
The Wrestling Observer originally speculated that Kingston taking an ankle stomp on Monday Night Raw may have set that up:
"After the match, they took out Kingston and destroyed his ankle. Not sure if this is an injury angle to set up Kingston needing time off because if New Day switches sides (which was the plan this week), there's no chance for revenge for the injury."
Then Big E tweeted the following:
Kingston is a former Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team champion. He started as a developmental talent in 2006, was called up to ECW in 2008 and joined RAW later in 2008.
