Florida State won't have one of its top recruits on campus as soon as it thought

That's unexpected.

While Florida State isn't losing any recruits, the school is losing out on an early enrollee according to sources close to 247Noles. Four-star receiver D.J. Matthews was supposed to enroll in January, but didn't quite meet the requirements to be an early enrollee.

He was supposed to be the eighth early enrollee, but will now enroll in July like the majority of the 2017 class. Matthews is listed as a 5'11", 160-pound receiver out of Jacksonville, Fla.
