Some Duke students thought it would be a clever idea to infiltrate the Chapel Hill campus at UNC and go undercover as UNC students. They went around and interviewed students and mostly asked them what they thought of some players. However, the Duke guys quickly found out that these students clearly did not know their basketball.
The interviewer asked about guys like Grayson Allen, Brandon Ingram, and even old Dukey Christian Laettner! He got UNC students to say they actually like Laettner! Only Duke fans like the guy and even then there are some who aren't exactly fond of him. They even went so far as to name the top recruit in this year's recruiting class and still no one had any idea he was a Duke commit.
Here's the lesson folks: never pretend to know things about basketball, or really any subject you are not familiar with. Someone will exploit you and make you look like a fool. That's pretty much what Jimmy Kimmel does to people all the time with his "Lie Witness News" skit he does. This just seems perfect for the big showdown tonight when UNC and Duke will meet as ranked teams for the 75th time in the rivalry's history.
