Ed Orgeron takes a blunt shot at former coaching gig before talking up LSU

The only way things could get better for Orgeron would be a win over Alabama Saturday night.

LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron has rolled through the last three contests, putting up a 3-0 record while averaging over 40 points per game.

And while a 3-1 record down the stretch could reportedly earn him the full-time position at LSU, Orgeron still holds a bit of resentment over not earning the job at USC after Lane Kiffin bolted and he put together a 6-2 record to close the season.

"I'm better off at LSU, I'm with my people," Orgeron told the Russillo and Kanellradio show, per College Football Talk. "Maybe I'm not the country club they wanted and, you know what, to hell with them."
