Anthony Solomon is ranked as a four-star inside linebacker by Scout and he’s got a star-studded list of top school choices. The 6’1″, 190-pound ILB apparently only has eyes for the big boys though as he just got finished with a visit to Clemson this weekend and likes what they bring to the table right now as he told 247Sports.
“They just won the national championship, and seeing them develop as a program over the years has been really cool. And a lot of kids from South Florida end up going there and really liking it.”
He also revealed the top five schools in the running for him from his 25 offers he’s gotten already. And they are the heaviest of hitters that could all potentially end up in the College Football Playoff next season.
“Michigan, Clemson, Alabama, Florida State, and Ohio State are the main ones right now,” he said.
Michigan currently holds the top spot and is considered the favorite as the Wolverines have all the predictions, but that could change based on his admiration he seems to have for the Tigers after his recent visit. Solomon does plan to go back up to Ann Arbor though for another visit.
