One of the wildest personalities in sports today, former NFL head coach Rex Ryan, reportedly became one of the hottest commodities on the market — not for a coaching job, but for a television gig. And he’s officially landed with ESPN as part of a rebranded “Sunday NFL Countdown,” per New York Daily News.

According to Sports Business Daily, Ryan was sought after by CBS, Fox, NFL Network and ESPN, and he opted to sign with the worldwide leader, which was originally a deal only for Super Bowl Sunday.

Over eight years, Ryan is 61-66 as a head coach, splitting time between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.

The new, rebranded Sunday morning show will now include Ryan, and former NFL players Randy Moss, Charles Woodson, Matthew Hasselbeck and Trent Dilfer.
