ESPN ranks the top running back corps in the SEC and it sounds about right

It's Vanderbilt! Just kidding. It's not.

We have reached peak offseason and that means it's time to rank positions on each team in the SEC. ESPN's Edward Aschoff has done exactly that and given us this glorious ranking of the running back groups in the SEC.

These rankings could very well change before summer workouts and especially before games get going. Injuries might occur and there might be some surprise transfers, but this is certainly a good indicator of where you can expect your team's running game to go this season.

1. LSU
2. Tennessee
3. Georgia
4. Auburn
5. Alabama
6. Kentucky
7. Florida
8. Vanderbilt
9. Arkansas
10. Ole Miss
11. Texas A&M
12. Mississippi State
13. Missouri
14. South Carolina

LSU obviously has Leonard Fournette who is good enough by himself to earn a top ranking, but Tennessee has the duo of Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara who should play well again this year now that they've got experience under offensive coordinator Mike DeBord. Georgia has Sony Michel and Nick Chubb while Roc Thomas and Jeremy Johnson (from the QB spot).
