ESPN reporter: Purdue deal for next head coach is "doneish"

This is less than a week after reports emerged that Western Michigan coach P.J. Fleck was "soon to be named Purdue's next head coach."

Less than a week after reports emerged that Western Michigan coach P.J. Fleck was "soon to be named Purdue's next head coach," another report from an unlikely source is claiming a separate candidate is "doneish" as the next Boilermaker head coach with a presser slated for Monday:

Dakich is a college basketball analyst, so this one comes a bit out of left field.

With Les Miles reportedly out of the running, it would appear Fleck and Brohm are Purdue's top remaining candidates, which gives his report a bit of credence.

After an 8-5 season to start his career at Western Kentucky, Brohm's teams have rattled off a 12-2 year before going 9-3 this season. His team has won two consecutive bowl games.
