Final Four contender loses huge piece of the team to NBA Draft

Hopefully it works out for him.

Florida basketball is finally getting back to its elite levels that it saw under coach Billy Donovan thanks to excellent coaching from Mike White and because of a few Donovan recruits who stuck with it and gave White something to work with. One of those guys was Devin Robinson who probably could have transferred and been a superstar elsewhere, but believed in what White was doing and turned himself into a defensive monster as well as a versatile player on offense.

His performance throughout the year and ability to do just about everything well on the court has garnered him some NBA attention and he thinks it's enough to go pro and enter this year's NBA Draft.

He has been mocked to go in the second round of the draft after averaging 11.1 points, 0.9 steals and 6.1 rebounds per game this past season. Most people believe that if he had gone back to Gainesville, this Gator squad was easily a Final Four team in 2018.
