The San Antonio Spurs put a beating on the Houston Rockets Wednesday night 121-96, but lost a key member of the team in the process. They lost a leader and their point guard in Tony Parker who suffered a serious left leg injury during the game.

Parker is believed to have a torn quadriceps tendon near his knee and that would definitely put him out for at least four months. This was what the play looked like where Parker got injured:

It's a seemingly odd injury considering that he didn't land on the leg and there wasn't any serious contact with it. Regardless, it's a devastating for the Spurs who will miss his playoff averaged of 15.9 points, 3.1 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 52.6 field goal percentage.
