Jeff Fisher was fired from the Los Angeles Rams after dropping nine games in 13 contests this season and dropping even with Dan Reeves for the worst winning percentage ever.

Possible candidates for the job are New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen, Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst and Colorado head coach Mike MacIntyre, per MMQB.

The Rams will be tasked with bringing some excitement back to the program after a miserable start wore down a fan base thrilled to have football again.

McDaniels seems like the obvious choice judging from his prior work with quarterbacks. He helped put together quality wins with Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett and obviously Tom Brady.

Shanahan has done much of the same, blitzing through the season with Matt Ryan, Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones and a cast of relative unknowns.

Mullen (Dak Prescott) and Chryst (Russell Wilson) also have successful backgrounds in developing quarterbacks.

The Bill Parcells product, MacIntyre has a defensive background and has turned around a struggling Colorado program.

Despite rumors of Harbaugh’s interest in the job, he is reportedly not considering the idea of jumping from Michigan.
