Five-star point guard spurns long time recruitment favorite for other school

Looks like a reload once again.

Quade Green is the No. 3 point guard in the class of 2017 and it's believed that the race for his commitment was down to Syracuse and Kentucky. He went with the Wildcats after seemingly favoring Syracuse for most of his recruitment.

The 6'1", 170-pound guard out of Philadelphia had numerous offers, some of which included Duke and Villanova. On the Nike EYBL circuit, Green averaged 14.1 points, 10.5 assists per game and 2.9 steals per game. He shot about 42 percent from the floor and 37 percent from three-point range.
