Five-star shooting guard John Petty is officially down to two schools and they are both in the SEC. Kentucky Sports Radio is reporting that Alabama and Kentucky are his top two choices. Petty is ranked as the No. 7 shooting guard and No. 25 overall recruit in the class of 2017.

The Huntsville, Ala. native took an official visit to Alabama in August and plans to take his official visit to Kentucky later this month on the 28th. He also is moving up his signing date to November to become a part of the early signing period.
