The Florida Gators had an extra week of rest this weekend because of Hurricane Matthew and that gave them a chance to get healthy in the quarterback position. Luke Del Rio might have been able to play against LSU with his knee injury, but it looks like he is back for sure against Missouri.

Del Rio’s knee was still acting up a bit last week in practice, but it was nothing out of the ordinary.

He also took a lot of the first team reps the next day in practice and that bodes well for this week.

Obviously there are some more days of practice this week so Del Rio’s knee should be looking better as the week goes on and he should eventually get all of the first team snaps by Thursday. The game against Mizzou is also Homecoming so Del Rio will have a little extra incentive to get back on the field and play well.
