Florida’s lone loss on the season came at the hands of Tennessee, 38-28. If the season plays out with No. 9 falling to No. 8 Texas A&M and No. 1 Alabama, the Gators would punch a ticket to Atlanta to play in the SEC Championship game over the Volunteers by winning their remaining SEC games.

Thanks to somewhat of a loophole, the highest win percentage for in-conference competition is the division champion.

Aside from LSU, Florida has Missouri, Georgia, Arkansas and South Carolina.

That’s a cakewalk compared to Tennessee’s matchups against Texas A&M and Alabama in back-to-back weeks. The Vols’ competition then falls off to South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt.

Tennessee has the team’s fate in their own hands by beating the Aggies, but it would be brutal after the Vols ended an 11-year losing streak to Florida.
