Florida player on UT outcome: 'I truly believe the better team didn't win'

Someone sounds a little bitter about the loss.

There are plenty of Florida players who are undoubtedly upset with the outcome of the Tennessee game. It was a 38-28 win for the Vols for the first time in 11 years and that will definitely grind some gears of Gator players. There was one player in particular who was not happy about it and that was backup quarterback Austin Appleby who started the game for the injured Luke Del Rio.

Appleby was pretty pissed about the loss and he said as much to the media today:

Appleby went even further and described the post game locker room scene and it sounds like it was quite gloomy:

The Florida Gators can still get to the SEC Championship in Atlanta with some wins and a little help from bad luck scheduling by Tennessee. The Vols still have to play at Georgia, at Texas A&M and at home against Alabama so there should be at least one loss in there and as long as Florida wins out in the conference it still has a chance to go to Atlanta.
