Former Alabama standout becomes newest member of Crimson Tide coaching staff

That's a pretty sweet pick up.

Alabama has seen its fair share of turmoil as far as the coaching staff goes this season. They're already on their third offensive coordinator and have lost other coordinators as well. They've had to fill those positions again and it looks like they've added a little more stability on the coaching staff now.

Matt Zenitz from AL.com reported Wednesday night that Alabama would be hiring former Crimson Tide safety Nick Perry. The former four-star recruit recorded two interceptions and 80 tackles back in 2014 as a starter in the secondary so he certainly has some experience in that part of the game.

Perry went undrafted out of Alabama, but did have a couple NFL stints with the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles over the last two seasons.
