Former All-American and National Champion calls it a career at the young age of 27

It was a pretty great one too.

Former Florida great and All-American Ahmad Black has decided to end his football career at the age of 27.

He was on the BCS National Championship team that won in 2009 (for the 2008 season) and was named a first-team All-SEC and All-American performer in 2010. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Bucs in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and went on to play in 24 games for them between 2011 and 2013. He recorded 53 total tackles, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble.
