According to multiple reports on social media, former All-SEC and Auburn defensive end Quentin Groves has passed away. He was 32.
Groves had a standout career at Auburn, where he became the school's all-time leader in sacks. He went on to be drafted in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft, where a physical revealed that he had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. The syndrome required heart surgery, but Groves was still able to play in the NFL afterwards. He last played for the Bills in 2015 before being cut in the preseason.
Groves is survived by his wife and two kids.
