Duke has lost a few guys to transfer this offseason and one of them was forward Chase Jeter. The seldom-used forward figured he wouldn’t be getting much more playing time in the future so he transferred out in hopes of finding the minutes. It looks like he’s settled on a spot:
Jeter will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules, but should have two more years of eligibility remaining. He averaged 2.1 points and 2.2 rebounds over 48 games while playing 10.3 minutes a game in his Duke career. The 6’10”, 240-pound forward will likely hit eligibility at just the right time as some guys will be graduating and there will likely be a couple guys going pro after this coming season as well.
