Former five-star PG and Duke up-and-comer makes surprising basketball decision

This came out of nowhere.

Duke was looking like it might be able to reload its roster despite losing so much talent to graduation and the NBA Draft. And it was looking like freshman Frank Jackson was going to inherit the starting point guard spot, but it seems he's going to try his hand at the NBA first.

Jackson averaged 10.9 points, 1.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in about 25 minutes a game his freshman season. He also shot 39.2 percent from beyond the arc and 47.3 percent from the floor overall. It's still going to be tough to break into the mock drafts for Jackson considering he didn't show everything he could do and this draft in particular is deep at the guard position.
