Barrett, a former four-star prospect out of high school, was buried on Auburn's depth chart after spring practice. Barrett was likely going to be the fourth string QB behind Jarrett Stidham, Sean White and incoming freshman Malik Willis.

Barrett was the No. 6 dual-threat QB in the Class of 2016. He will be eligible to enroll elsewhere after spending next fall in junior college.
