Former LSU athletic director Skip Bertman (2001-2008) commented on the different possibilities of hiring certain coaches once the season ends. There are a ton of hot names in coaching right now like Houston’s Tom Herman, Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher and Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.

Bertman was on the Baton Rouge ESPN affiliate and here was his response when he was asked if he would hire Kiffin: “No. I don’t like him.” However, that wasn’t the entire quote as The Advocate‘s Ross Dellenger added a little more context.

Bertman was excited by the prospect of bringing back one coach though and said it would definitely be worth it for the school to get him.

Fisher was rumored to be the guy to replace Miles last year, but the LSU fans ended up coming to the rescue of Miles and allowed him to keep his job for another third of a season. Fisher was an assistant coach under Nick Saban and Miles from 2000 to 2006.
