Former Michigan coach Brady Hoke is 'expected' to become assistant coach at SEC school

That's an interesting move for him.

Brady Hoke has had a rough few years recently with being let go by Michigan as the head coach and then Oregon as the defensive coordinator. With the Ducks, his defense was the third-worst scoring defense in the entire country so it might be time for an image rehabilitation. It sounds like he might be getting that opportunity in the SEC now according Bruce Feldman:

Hoke started his career as DL coach for Grand Valley State and Western Michigan before moving on to linebackers at Toledo. He then went back to the line when he coached at Oregon State and was a defensive end and line coach at Michigan before becoming the head coach at Ball State and San Diego State after that. Then he became the Michigan head coach and took a year off in 2015 before becoming the defensive coordinator at Oregon.
