Tennessee coaching legend Phil Fulmer loves to talk about his alma mater and especially one of his favorite quarterbacks, Peyton Manning. Fulmer talked to FOX Sports at length about how Manning is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game and he had a first hand look when he was coaching Manning at Tennessee.
"This is certainly arguable, but in my mind, and in my very biased opinion, he's the best that's played the position in the game. He's done it in a lot of different ways. When he had a running game and when he didn't. When he had a defense and when he didn't. When he was on a great team and when he wasn't."
Oh, and there's one more thing too.
He's done it with class (the entire time)."
Obviously, Fulmer is going to be a bit biased having coached him on Rocky Top, but that is still some pretty high praise from the coach.
