Bob Gain, who was drafted by the Green Bay Packers but saw most of his success with the Cleveland Brown, has passed away at age 87, per the Associated Press.
Gain was drafted No. 5 overall in the 1951 NFL Draft, won three consecutive NFL championships with the Browns, was an eight-time All-Pro defensive lineman and played 13 years in the NFL.
Gain was a two-time All-American during his time at Kentucky and was the SEC's first winner of the Outland Trophy.
The defensive lineman is in the College Football Hall of Fame and spent time playing Canadian football before joining the U.S. Air Force and eventually returning to the NFL with the Browns.
