Former USC TE Bryce Dixon arrested on suspicion of felony carjacking

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, former four-star recruit and USC tight end Bryce Dixon was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of felony carjacking. The arrest stems from an on-going investigation into a series of robberies by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Dixon, 19, was kicked off the team last year after allegations of sexual misconduct on-campus. After a lawsuit against the school, Dixon was allowed re-enroll at USC, but his dismissal from the football team remained. As a freshman, Dixon 14 passes for 198 yards and four touchdowns for the Trojans.

As for Dixon now, the Times reports that he is "held in lieu of $100,000 bail at the 77th Street station jail". The Times does not specify when the alleged carjacking took place, but merely that it was involved with the aforementioned investigation.
