Former WWE Cruiserweight standout Jamie Noble was reportedly taken to the emergency room Wednesday morning after he was stabbed twice, in the upper back and mid-back/spine area, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
According to another report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Noble suffered a collapsed lung after being stabbed and posted a lengthy update on his status via Facebook. Per the report, Noble was put immediately into surgery as one of his lungs filled with blood and he spent the next four days recovering.
Noble said he had been driving all week and had gotten off work that night and driven from Cleveland to Princeton, where it was possible he had drifted across the line and pushed a car off the road. The driver then reportedly got out of his car and threw a punch before the former wrestler took him to the ground. Two other men then reportedly got out of the vehicle and stabbed Noble:
“In the middle of this madness one coward pulls a knife stabbing me once through the back middle near the spin. The blade went between my ribs and hit my lung.” Adding, “I still tried to fight back and then they tried to cut my throat. I was able to get them to miss the throat and rip my shoulder open.”
According to Noble, his girlfriend ran out of the house and broke things up.
Noble’s attackers still haven’t been found, and the one-time wrestling is seeking help:
“I need help from my FB family, I need you to share this with everyone you can. Somebody knows something, or heard something, saw something that can help me get these criminals because the law isn’t going to. Please ask, listen, anything that can help me just get one name. Just one. This could have been my 63 year old dad or my 16 year old boy … can you even imagine that???? I can’t. I’ll also pay $200 for a name and if it turns out legit I’ll give you another $500 cash. Please share this with every friend you have and me get a name.”
Let’s hope police can catch whoever after this awful scenario.
