Four-star Bama decommit Jhavonte Dean has found a new school

Dean decommitted from Alabama last week.

Just 10 days ahead of National Signing Day, four-star JUCO defensive back Jhavonte Dean (6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Homestead, Fla.) announced that he was decommitting from Alabama and re-opening his recruitment. Dean didn't wait until signing day to make a new commitment, though, as he announced his commitment to Miami on Tuesday night.

Dean ranks as the No. 2 junior college cornerback in the country according to 247Sports and that also comes with a place among the top 15 junior college prospects nationally. With that, he is ranked as a four-star prospect and the 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback from Blinn College will be a big addition to the Miami 2017 recruiting class.

With Dean on board, Miami now has 22 members for their recruiting class this year. That class ranks No. 16 overall per 247Sports, and third in the ACC.
