Four-star defensive back turns down hometown Oregon in surprising commitment

The four-star is staying in the Northwest.

Four-star defensive back Elijah Molden made a surprise commitment Saturday evening, turning down hometown favorite Oregon to land at Washington.

The 5'11", 185-pound defensive back also had offers from USC, Stanford and Notre Dame before deciding on the current No. 4 team in the country.

Molden is ranked the No. 2 player in the state of Oregon and the No. 25 overall cornerback.
