It came down to LSU and Ole Miss for four-star linebacker Patrick Queen (6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Livonia, LA), and it looks like he has made his decision by committing to the Tigers.
Queen also had offers from Tennessee and Florida.
After building one of the top classes of 2016, LSU has started out a little bit slower in 2017. Some of that may be due to the budget crisis or the controversy that surrounded Les Miles at the end of the 2015 season, but either way, Queen is only their fourth commit so far.
Of course, don't expect LSU to be slow for the entire year; expect their recruiting to pick up to their usual levels sooner than later.
