Four-star RB shockingly flips from Big Ten school to non-Power 5 team

Richardson had been committed to Maryland.

Four-star running back Cordarrian Richardson (5-foot-11, 220 pounds, Memphis, Tenn.) gained some acclaim on Wednesday when he announced his commitment to Maryland via a camera sent up through the atmosphere into space.

However, it didn't take long for that commitment to come crashing down, as Richardson later flipped his commitment to Central Florida, having officially signed with the school.

Richardson, as a Top 10 running back in the nation, is by far the highest-rated recruit for Central Florida. He is the only composite four-star recruit among their signees, but Central Florida's class is still ranked as the No. 1 team for the American Athletic Conference.
