Four-star RB T.J. Pledger drops top eight list and decision date

And one school hasn't even offered him yet.

T.J Pledger is a four-star running back in the class of 2018 and he is likely to get a five-star designation when all of the recruiting services make their next update for the class. He's the No. 3 running back in the class according to Scout and has narrowed down his choice of schools to eight.

He dropped his top eight schools in this highlight reel that was made for him:

That list includes: Tennessee, Oregon, Oklahoma, UCLA, Georgia, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Clemson. The Tigers haven't actually offered him yet, but he told Scout that he expects to get an offer in the spring and detailed the rest of the visits he plans to take.

"All but Clemson have offered but that should come in the Spring. I just visited Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee last week and loved all three schools. I didn't have any of them on my list before the visit but I'm definitely considering all of them heavily now.

"My next visit will be to Oklahoma on the 24th. I'll also visit UCLA in a few weeks when I'm back home for Spring Break but that's about all I have set up right now. I'm an early enrollee so I'll be making a commitment pretty soon. I don't have an exact date but I think it will be sometime after our Spring Ball is over."

The 5'8", 200-pound back is ranked as the top running back in Florida and the No. 2 RB in the south. He has over 20 offers including some from Arizona, LSU, Florida, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
