Four-star WR and Tennessee decommit KD Nixon announces new destination

Looks like he has a new school.

K.D. Nixon may only be 5-foot-8 and 182 pounds, but he is rated as a four-star recruit for a reason; Nixon is one of the quickest players available in the 2017 recruiting class and every team out there could also use a little more speedy.

Nixon had been committed to Tennessee earlier this year, but he decommitted back in June, with Ohio State being seen as a potential leader back then. That is not the case now, though, as Nixon announced a new commitment to Colorado on Tuesday.

Nixon had taken an official visit to Boulder on Saturday, and one of his teammates (three-star offensive guard Xavier Newman) had committed to the Buffaloes the day before. The two pickups are huge for Colorado, as Nixon is now the highest-rated member of their 2017 class.

Colorado is now sitting nicely in the recruiting rankings at fourth in the Pac-12 and 29th overall.
