FOX's Clay Travis has a shocking prediction for the SEC title winner

This would certainly be entertaining if it happened.

According to FOX Sports's Clay Travis, the SEC will have one of the most top-heavy seasons of all-time in 2016.

Travis released his completed predictions for the SEC on Thursday though his Outkick the Coverage site, and the big that jumps out is that Travis has LSU going undefeated and winning the SEC Championship Game over Tennessee. A lot of people are high on LSU, and Travis is clearly one of those people by predicting that the Tigers head into the College Football Playoff with a 13-0 record.

Travis had quite the line to back up that prediction: "Is there anything more Les Miles than going 13-0 and the winning the SEC the year after LSU tried to fire him?"

Where things start to get interesting is that Travis has Alabama only losing one game and finishing the regular season with an 11-1 record. If that really happens, then it is likely guaranteed that the Crimson Tide backdoor their way into a College Football Playoff berth.

Think about that for a second. If LSU does go 13-0, and Alabama is 11-1 with their only loss at LSU, then who is the committee going to put in over them? Sure the committee is supposed to value conference championships, but an 11-1 Oklahoma vs. an 11-1 Alabama would be a hell of a contest to see play out after conference championships.

As far as top-heaviness goes, Travis has four teams with 10 wins, with Tennessee and Georgia both getting to the 10-win mark along with LSU and Alabama. After that, though, the conference is held together by a bunch of seven-win teams that looks completely unappealing.

But hey, he's got Vanderbilt with seven wins, so that's fun! Let's see if the Commodores can get out of the cellar this year!
