Is there anything more annoying to NFL fans than seeing their favorite player and team penalized for celebrating a touchdown?

Scott Green, the head of the NFL Referees Association, told SiriusXM he wants to see Roger Goodell and the league office place less of an emphasis on penalizing players celebrating touchdowns.
"Nothing is worse than someone going 80 yards for a touchdown and then we're trying to figure out does that warrant a flag for what he's doing in the end zone," Green said. "We don't really enjoy that. If we could get to a point where it would simply be fines by the league, that would be great.
"The issue we'll still have is that guys can get pretty creative out there. The question of whether it's a foul or not a foul, hopefully we'll get closer to more of a black-and-white situation."
Of course, the No Fun League still wants to flag players for excessive celebration—though they are at least considering not fining them. So, Antonio Brown could twerk and not be fined for it, but he will be flagged.
The league certainly shouldn't fine players, and they really shouldn't penalize them either unless it's extremely excessive. It's unlikely that will happen, but at least the head of officials and other referees are on the same page.
