As it was reported, ESPN's Mike Tirico is Monday Night Football for NBC sports leaving a huge gap in the play-by-play booth for ESPN.

The network is reportedly tabbed to name Tirico's successor, and that will be none other than Sean McDonough:

McDonough has been relegated to ESPN's college football and college basketball (ACC) coverage since rejoining ESPN in 2000.He originally got his start with ESPN in 1989
