Huge defensive tackle named ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year

He definitely earned it.

Florida State might have the ACC's Offensive Rookie of the Year on its squad, but Clemson has the ACC's Defensive Rookie of the Year on its own. The Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association announced that defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is the recipient of the award.

The 6'5", 340-pound behemoth recorded 71 tackles, which is good for fourth on the team. He also had 7.5 tackles for loss to go with five sacks and 19 QB hurries.
