Jabrill Peppers plans to remain at Michigan until he graduates

Michigan Wolverines defensive back Jabrill Peppers has four years of eligibility remaining with the program, but he plans to remain in Ann Arbor until he graduates, regardless of whether his NFL Draft stock soars as expected.

In the interest of full disclosure, it is certainly possible that the redshirt freshman safety (who converted from cornerback in advance of the 2015 season) could graduate before his eligibility is exhausted, but this is encouraging for Jim Harbaugh and company. Peppers was a consensus five-star recruit in the Class of 2014, and despite an injury-plagued campaign last season, his stock remains high among talent evaluators.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound safety has the combination of size, speed and versatility that causes NFL scouts to salivate, but given this recent proclamation about pursuing his degree, fans of the Maize and Blue can expect their star defensive back prospect to remain in Ann Arbor.

At least for the next three seasons.
