Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had a heck of a debut, running all over the Seattle Seahawks.

But it’s what he did before he took the field that has Cowboys brass, and specifically team owner Jerry Jones, “troubled.”

According to TMZ, Elliott browsed marijuana shops in Seattle (which is a legal substance there, but banned in the NFL) before the contest.

Jones responded to the video via Star-Telegram:

“Well, I think that, in and of itself, the reason we are talking about it is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones said as he measured his words carefully. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”

The report notes Elliott did not purchase any of the substance, but it’s not the best look for a rookie still under investigation for an alleged domestic violence incident.

The Cowboys already have three players suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
