With the game tied at 99, Butler hit the game-winner on a step back jumper from the top of the key, and he finished with a season high 40 points on the night. Butler also had 11 rebounds as the Chicago Bulls improved to 16-16 on the season.

Butler is averaging 24.5 points per game so far this year, and that would be a career high if it holds up for the rest of the season. He is also averaging a career high 6.6 rebounds per game.
