Jose Reyes put some spin on the ball after a hit in a game against the Nationals. Reyes hit a pitch that went foul by home plate, and the ball started twirling like a spinning top.

It's uncommon for a baseball's cover to come off, but not unheard of. Andrew McCutchen ripped the cover off a ball last year during batting practice before a game.

Reyes, who's in his 13th season, has been tearing it up at the plate recently. He has a .302 batting average and .350 on-base percentage in his last 30 games.
