Kentucky forward won't face suspension despite arrest

This is a bit surprising.

Kentucky Derek Willis has not had one of the better offseasons in recent memory. He was arrested on a DUI charge just weeks before his 21st birthday and did not look good at all on the police car dashcam.

Willis was lying on the ground outside of the driver's side door of a car he was in. Willis was arrested for a first and second offense and released after posting $50 bond. However, coach John Calipari has said that Willis will not miss any game time despite the arrest.

Calipari didn't specify what discipline had already taken place, but the coach believes it's enough. Willis averaged 7.7 points and 4.4 rebounds coming off the bench last season.
