Kevin Durant went out of his way to fire shots at Shaq

Kevin Durant defended teammate JaVale McGee in his feud with Shaq.

Shaquille O'Neal made plenty of jokes at JaVale McGee's expense over the last several years, and McGee fired back on Twitter Thursday night. Kevin Durant also defended his Golden State Warriors' teammate, and he took some shots at Shaq in the process.

McGee has been a regular on Shaqtin' A Fool, and it appears as if he's had enough.

The most notable quote from Durant:

"Everybody can't be Shaq," Durant said. "[McGee]'s trying to make his money and enjoy the game of basketball and [there's] this perception of him that he's a dumb player because he makes mistakes on the court. Shaq was a shitty free throw shooter, missed dunks, airballed free throws and he couldn't shoot outside the paint. He was bigger than everybody. He didn't have no skills, but he was bigger and stronger than everybody. He was still a great player, but you had your flaws too."

This is the second time this year a member of the NBA on TNT crew has gotten into it with a current NBA player. Charles Barkley and LeBron James got into a feud earlier this year over Barkley's criticism.
