Kirk Herbstreit says there's one 'team to beat' for this season

He's certainly high on one school.

Kirk Herbstreit is in his offseason right now as he has no football games to call or go to for GameDay so it was only right that he got some practice in before August. He called the Alabama spring game and after watching the glorified scrimmage he had some pretty strong feelings about the team.

He's already said that he believes the Crimson Tide's first game of the season will be a 1 vs 2 match up with Florida State so he's pretty much following suit with everything else he's said up to this point. But he is right that Alabama did lose a lot of talent to the draft and will have to find replacements for everyone. It does look like sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts has improved his passing and that could spell danger for any opponent this year.
