Former Ravens tight end tragically passes away at age 29

This is absolutely awful.

Former Baltimore Ravens tight end Konrad Reuland has passed away at age 29 due to complications from a brain aneurysm. Coach John Harbaugh made the announcement after Monday night's loss to the Patriots. The Ravens also sent out a tweet with their condolences and prayers to the family:

Reuland initially suffered the brain aneurysm at the end of November. He had surgery at the end of that month and was in intensive care for the last few weeks.

The 6'5", 254-pound tight end initially signed the with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011 after going undrafted. He then spent time with the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts and Ravens.

Reuland recorded 12 receptions for 90 yard before he was released by the Colts in August.
