Lee Corso’s headgear pick could help determine the last College Football Playoff spot

This would be crazy.

It's hard to make any sort of correlation between Lee Corso's headgear picks and who goes on to earn playoff berths and the like. This weekend might actually give us some hard evidence though as Corso is 21-0 when it comes to making a pick involving USC.

Since Corso is basically a football god at this point, that means that whoever is picked to win has to win, right? That should mean that Washington could very well find its way to the College Football Playoffs. We''ll have a better idea once the rankings come out Tuesdayy night though.
