Les Miles to try out this new coaching wrinkle in 2016

Les Miles is intent on turning things around this season, so you can expect to see some new wrinkles. One of those will be keeping both of his coordinators right by his side.

After a closed practice Monday, Miles said that both offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will join him in coaching from the sidelines in 2016.

"This will be the first time all of my coordinators will be on the sidelines," Miles said.

Cameron, for one, has always coached from a booth. This will be his first season on the sidelines since arriving in Baton Rouge in 2013. Miles said that subject to change, but it's an idea he'd like to try out for a while.

"As best as I got it today, [Cameron] is going to be on the sidelines," Miles said. "You could ask me that same question tomorrow, and he's probably going to be on the sidelines ... Until we're probably about 10 days out, then we'll refigure it again, and then, he'll probably be on the sideline."
